Third-Party Services

The following third-party services receive some user data as part of operating this site:

Cloudflare — hosting, CDN, and security. Processes IP addresses.
Clerk — authentication and account management. Handles sign-in credentials.
Stripe — payment processing for business subscription tiers.
Resend — transactional email delivery for newsletters and notifications.
Mapbox — interactive map display. May collect location data if you use the geolocate feature.
Anthropic (Claude API) — AI-generated content (conditions summaries, itineraries). Query content may be processed.

Cookies

Data Retention

Newsletter subscriber data is retained until you unsubscribe. Business listing data is retained as long as the listing is active. Anonymized usage analytics are retained for up to 12 months.

Children's Privacy

Kaw Lake Life is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
